報告タイトル：Fertility, Gender Wage Gaps and Effects of Subsidies to Child-Care Services
要旨：
In an overlapping generations model, we examine the effects of wage-tax-financed subsidies for parents’ purchases of child-care services on fertility and gender wage gaps. Increases in the wage tax and the child-care subsidy will raise the fertility rate and reduce the ratio of females working in the goods production sector. The demand for “children,” increased by the subsidies, will be met by increases in the child-care production. However, the gender wage gap may not necessarily become smaller since the reduced capital stock tends to expand the gap while the reduced demand for mental (skilled) labor narrows the gender wage gap.

勤務内容
教員の依頼に応じて、教員が行う学部学生に対する講義・演習等について、
教育補助業務に当る。その内容は、授業担当教員が具体的に指示する。
謝金及び時間数
謝金は、１時間あたり、博士課程 修士課程1,000円にて換算。
１人の勤務時間は、週10時間、年30週を限度とする。

報告タイトル：Short and Longer Run Impacts of Management Training: The Case of Kaizen in Tanzania (by Yuki Higuchi and Tetsushi Sonobe)
要旨：
We conducted a randomized experiment among Tanzanian small garment enterprises to examine the impacts of short-term basic management training. Our training featured the Kaizen approach to production management and was taught in two different modes: one in classroom and the other on site. Using panel data collected before and after the training interventions, we find that our training programs improved entrepreneurs’ management capacity and such improvement remained significant at least for three years after the intervention. Although the training impact on business performance was not significant shortly after the training, it became significant two and three years later. Such business improvement can, at least partially, be explained by capital investment by the training participants. The time lag between the training intervention and the business improvement suggests the importance of collecting panel data in a long span to evaluate the impacts of management training.
